Church Lane Community Centre is a large modern facility, having undergone a £750k refurbishment by Bedford Borough Council.
The Centre is here to be used by the community as a place for Sports & Recreation, Celebrations and Wakes, a link to Outdoor Groups and other Community Projects, Arts & Crafts, Formal Meetings and Consultation, Worship, Mums and Tots, Support Groups, a real Community Hub.
The Centre is run by the charity Church Lane Community Centre Association.
We have a large fully air-conditioned Main Hall with intelligent lighting and heating system/air conditioning, a bar and kitchen, Meeting Room 3 is adjoined to the hall and kitchen and Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 on the first floor are self contained and have flat screen TVs for projection from your laptop with hdmi cables supplied and kitchenettes.

Please be aware that the Centre Manager is not on site all of the time so please phone before you come.
Main Hall (Max 160 Persons)
Weekdays £13 per hour
Saturdays before 2pm £13 per hour
Saturdays after 2pm £26 per hour
Sundays £15 per hour
The Main Hall is spacious, light and fully air conditioned with an intelligent lighting and heating system. This makes it a great venue for sports, dance, relaxation classes and large meetings as well as celebrating special occasions. There are service hatches from the bar and kitchen. The brand new kitchen facilities can be used for self-catering or you can bring in a caterer and bar service of your own. For bar services you will need a Temporary Events License which is easily obtainable, call the Centre Manager on 07816 044007 for more information. The bar and kitchen are free to use

The Small Hall is accessed via the Kitchen and Main Hall. It’s a cosy space suitable for small meetings, board games, creche, micro cinema, cloakroom etc and is hired separately to the Main Hall
Upstairs Rooms 1 & 2 (Max 30 persons)
Weekdays £10 per hour
Saturdays before 2pm £10 per hour
Saturdays after 2pm £15 per hour
Sundays £10 per hour
These rooms each have a large wall mounted television and kitchenette, making them them ideal for medium sized meetings of 20 to 30 people or Art & Craft activities
Upstairs Small Room
£5 per hour
This is an ideal space for one-to-one consultations, counselling or music lessons
